11:46 PeterMetz Anybody knows how to register a ContainerResponseFilter with a JAX-RS app globally? Caveat: I don't have a web.xml and willing to keep it that way. I'm using RESTEasy, Wildfly 8.

16:20 firebird1 why ppl love lisp ?
16:24 whartung Because parentheses make it more warm and snuggly than the pointy curly braces and what not of other languages
16:29 sfisque firebird1 because the dream of the 1890's is still alive in portland
16:49 Naros hehe lisp.  never got why that class was so darn important in college
16:49 Naros lisp, prolog, etc.
16:52 whartung "Those that don't know Lisp are doomed to reimplent it -- badly"
16:55 whartung Lisp is amazing, I love lisp - I just don't use it. I'd need a new job that was 100% lisp to pick it back up again.
17:04 sfisque i think that's kind of the point.  lisp is like ada or cobol.  sure you might find a high paying job, but it's going to be very niche

17:23 pdurbin "Lisp has all the visual appeal of oatmeal with fingernail clippings mixed in." -- Larry Wall http://fingernailsinoatmeal.com
17:25 sfisque lmao
17:26 pdurbin that said, I'm interested in learning clojure. mostly to get me to think out of the box
17:26 whartung wow -- pot calling kettle black there.
17:28 sfisque hardly.  i'd say perl more resembles the basement floor of a fraternity after a party [that being said, i do LOVE perl, but i wouldn't produce an enterprise product with it]
17:32 tjsnell Lisp is good because it has a very minimal, simple, regular syntax.
17:32 tjsnell Lisp is bad because it has a very minimal, simple, regular syntax.
17:33 sfisque >.<
