07:18		prologic	Hey all. So I've been working (in my spare/free time) on a project I dub httpfsd and httpfsfuse
07:18		prologic	My higher level goal here is to provide dropbox-like syncing and remote access to storage over FUSE+HTTP
07:20		prologic	So far I've completed a fairly complete/comprehensive HTTP API (httpfsd) that exposes most things that FUSE requires -- I also have most of a FUSE frontend working but needs polishing
07:20		prologic	in the end I hope to have OS X and Linux daemons and apps (the frontend) ready to share
12:11		pdurbin	prologic: you don't like Dropbox? Too expensive? Too proprietary? I used to use Dropbox a lot but I've kind of gotten away from it.

16:53		prologic	it's too expensive yes and too proprietary

16:53		prologic	all cloud storage models are IHMO
16:54		prologic	dotplus: I have :) couldn't find many/any in Go :)
16:54		prologic	so two reasons I'm doing this a) to solve my own problem and b) keep learning Go

17:06		dotplus	indeed that's what I'm doing with some python stuff at the moment
