I has a serious REST questions. |
11:43 |
|
travelr |
Should "vnd" MIMe types be registered with IANA or not |
11:43 |
|
travelr |
I googled, information unclear. Dick stuck in toaster. |
11:55 |
|
ironChicken |
because everyone else's REST questions are trivial or frivolous, right? |
11:58 |
|
travelr |
ironChicken: no but all of mine previously were |
11:58 |
|
travelr |
Ok not all |
11:58 |
|
travelr |
But that's a serious question. |
11:58 |
|
travelr |
The wording is so vague. |
11:58 |
|
travelr |
"vnd can be registered" |
11:59 |
|
travelr |
Ok but SHOULD they, MUST they. |
11:59 |
|
travelr |
I don't know. |
11:59 |
|
travelr |
And how do I avoid collisions. |
11:59 |
|
travelr |
Should I put my entire domain in there. |
11:59 |
|
travelr |
So vague damn it. |

Hi Rest, so I am tasked (as an intern, will have some help I guess.) To make a rest API (using Java/DropWizard), have been reading up tons on the different technologies, but the project itself wont kick off for a few days and I'd like some way to get my hands dirty, not just read various tutorials/documentations, any suggestions on how to go about this/what I could try to do? |

pokEarl: go through the React tutorial with at least one of the servers at https://github.com/reactjs/react-tutorial |

pokEarl: fork the repo and contribute one using java/dropwizard |

pokEarl |
Right, will try to look into it, thanks for the suggestion |
