sfisque: You have a point , but absolutely no one uses raw JS for writing webapps anymore - at least none of those who are serious, and of course those frameworks have a lot more traction and allow you to do Client-side apps _easily_ , which is what i prefer. YMMV of course. |

cem_, it is a bit old, but I don't think there were any drastic changes relevant to the integration of Spring and JSF since then. |

Using JSF with Spring sounds a bit weird to my ears unless it is a legacy project you're migrating to spring bit by bit. |

XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://localhost:8080/version. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://localhost:8383' is therefore not allowed access. |

you can make a modern filter without a web.xml |
18:50 |

same way you can map a servlet without it |

I checked codes people wrote on stackoverflow and other places and nothings work for me...I also added response.addHeader to my response but I can't get data from the response |

if i have a @stateless @clustered ejb, do i have to worry about multiple threads (or TimedObjects) executing it at the same time. i.e. is it inherently thread safe? i.e. the container creates a different instance of the ejb for each client? |
21:34 |
|
whartung |
I don't know what @Clustered is |
21:34 |
|
whartung |
@STateless, the container has a unique instance service each transaction (it may be a pooled instance) |
21:35 |
|
AndroidLoverInSF |
yeah depends on what @clustered does |
21:36 |
|
whartung |
@Clustered is not a JEE annotation |
21:37 |
|
AndroidLoverInSF |
isn't it ejb3 |
21:37 |
|
whartung |
no |
21:37 |
|
whartung |
JEE has no first class concept of clustering, it's a container artifact. |
21:38 |
|
sajjadg |
there's a good code in this https://java.net/jira/browse/JERSEY-2097 link but it's not working for me! |
21:38 |
|
whartung |
have you tried using a web.xml sajjadg ? |
21:38 |
|
sajjadg |
whartung: no! |
21:40 |
|
AndroidLoverInSF |
yes jboss |
21:41 |
|
AndroidLoverInSF |
looks like its safe, @Clustered in jboss means "enables load balancing over the cluster nodes for a remote client" |
