how does an IDE do code completion for jOOQ if the select precedes the where? curious |
17:41 |

Can Lukas tell us (maybe later) some experiences when he would use hibernate over Jooq or if there are some experiences when to consider to switch over to jooq? |

with JOOQ, there are various way's to write query |

does the select precede the where? |

17:45 |

JOOQ is same as queryDSL ? they are different, but similar kinda |
17:45 |
|
michel_slm |
with select before from, seems like you have to specify table.col1, table.col2 instead of the IDE being able to know which table you're on and just autocomplete the column names |

How do you design Java APIs for a fluent DSL like jOOQ? Is there a tool that allows you to model all the intermediate steps as Java types? |
