21:19		pdurbin	I think the underlying problem is that we're doing it wrong. Rather than tagging "develop" and merging it into "master" we should be merging "develop" into "master" and then tagging "master". I think.
22:47		semiosis	pdurbin: afaik, tags & branches are the same thing in git -- a pointer to a commit -- but tags never change once created (always point to same commit) whereas branches get updated to when you push.
