15:55 dotplus yeah, osx is beginning to be get to the level of annoyance where I should relearn how to do linux on the desktop in preparation for changing my primary machine to linux.

15:57 pdurbin yeah. I switch from Fedora to Ubuntu at home but I don't really love either.
16:03 dotplus I'm considering having an OSX laptop as a fancy terminal and place where I deal with graphical apps/multimedia and a linux desktop/deskside (smallest/quietest thing I can find that will take 16G and support VTx) running as a hypervisor and just do all my dev in cattle VMs running whatever OS/distro/release(s) we're focussed on at the moment
