15:20 LumberJill Hi guys, I still can't  figure out the concept of a subresource... I have some particular questions:
15:22 LumberJill Should the subresource be part of the resource representation, e.g car is a subresource of Person and Person is represented like this:name: joe, car: ModelA}?
15:23 LumberJill or can a subresource be anything that is related to a Resource and it doesn't have as a nested object in the "Parent" resource object/representation?
15:23 LumberJill doesn't have to be **
15:24 pdurbin I think it's up to you.
15:25 pdurbin Also, Joe might have more than one car. :)
15:25 LumberJill I need to implement the two concepts I am just asking if the second "way" is acceptable
15:25 LumberJill yes say he has an array of cars
15:26 LumberJill the problem is that it's "bothersome" for the resource to carry all of it's subresources in the representation
15:26 pdurbin If your users run away screaming from your design, it is not acceptable. :)
15:27 LumberJill lol I might be running away and screaming because I can't figure out a URI mapping
15:27 pdurbin Write some client code and see if you like the API you're designing.
16:09 LumberJill okay thank youu pdurbin
16:10 pdurbin oh sure, good luck
