18:41 bigbluehat hi folks...how do people feel (that care about HTTP and URLs and such) about "fallback routing" (typically for SPA's) where all would-be-404 requests turn into 200 responses returning an `index.html` file (typically)?
18:42 bigbluehat usually this is coupled with `history.pushState` in the browser to make "pretty" URLs

20:24 trygvis bigbluehat: sounds fine to me, those URLs are only going to be used by browsers anyway

20:38 bigbluehat trygvis: says who? :)
20:39 trygvis my magic eight ball?
20:39 bigbluehat one question I have is what happens to caches? including the back/forward cache in the browser
20:39 bigbluehat guessing they just get loads of copies of index.html?
20:39 bigbluehat and also, why is there such a trend away from using # prefixed URLs?
20:40 bigbluehat can people just not handle that tick-tack-toe shape? :-P
