11:07 nakulcg hello all, if I want to build a rest api, should I return a singleton or a direct object for resources e.g. `mysite.com/api/<resource_name>{/<resource_id>}` where /<resource_id> is optional
11:07 nakulcg singleton as in should it be wrapped in an array?
11:08 nakulcg any canonical resources on this?
11:25 trygvis you should use a hypermedia to transfer the resource state
11:25 trygvis as the man himself said: http://roy.gbiv.com/untangled/2008/rest-apis-must-be-hypertext-driven
11:40 asdf nakulcg, there's several examples to choose from, when it comes to hypermedia standards; collection+json is one (and it does have an opinion about your dilemma); there's also others, eg. HAL
11:51 nakulcg thanks guys, will read up
