02:38 bojangles if i have a website and its making API calls to an API on localhost which stores data in a database also on the localhost, where should i be encrypting the user's data (i.e. passwords). website -> API or have the API take in raw input and encrypt it there and store it in the database?

12:58 bojangles haha keep the dream alive!
13:00 pdurbin bojangles: are you asking if users should send their passwords to your API? The answer is no. :)

17:31 ReScO I'm looking to create a REST api but i'm having a little bit of a hard time figuring it out
17:32 ReScO Basically, the application starts, it checks if it has a GUID, if it doesn't, it needs to request one from the API, after that it should retrieve it's RSA keys, then everything is dandy
17:32 ReScO what would be the best way to go about it?
