18:24 wavded Does anyone have any good resources on explaining and debugging form/multipart requests?
18:26 whartung that's almost entirely dependent on the tooling you're using
18:35 wavded whartung: currently we have clients who need to write raw multipart requests, 90% of them get it wrong and need to be walked through in their particular language, was kinda hoping for an endpoint that would help validate their raw requests for errors.  Like missing "\r\n" or bad content-length, etc.

19:50 bigbluehat the state of multiple headers in Python tooling is abysmal
19:50 bigbluehat urllib2, requests...they all use dictionaries internally
19:51 bigbluehat does anyone know of a python HTTP client that doesn't have this bug?
19:53 pdurbin bigbluehat: the requests developer hangs out in #positivepython, which might be a good place to ask
19:53 bigbluehat pdurbin: great to know. tnx!
19:54 bigbluehat wavded: also, I'd love to know if you find something that helps with multipart testing/parsing
19:55 * bigbluehat remains baffled how the simple things can be so hard

22:12 mamund sounds like someone needs to write this form/multipart testbed-- would be a great service to the community
22:13 mamund hey bigbluehat, wonder if that would make a nice project for #restfest

22:40 whartung it's not as if multipart is that hard, right?
