06:24 chovy hey guys
06:24 chovy another rest reource question
06:25 chovy i have a private resource (only operates on logged in user at /api/favorites where I can do crud. delete would be /api/favorites/job/:id
06:25 chovy now i'm thinking maybe it makes more sense to have it for any user (as an admin could perform actions on behalf of another user.) where the resource would be instead:
06:26 chovy DELETE /api/users/:id/favorites/jobs/:id
06:26 chovy for example
06:26 chovy DELETE /api/users/:id/favorites/jobs/:jobid rather
06:26 chovy which one do you think is better?
06:26 chovy it seems a little cumbersome to put all resources acting on a given user under /api/users/:id
06:26 chovy that will pretty much be everything
06:27 chovy if i keep it /api/favorites i'm not sure how i would handle an admin deleting on behalf of another user.
06:27 chovy short of letting an admin jump into a user's account.
06:27 chovy which i've done before
06:28 chovy maybe i need an /api/admin api that will work off user ids
