acuzio ide isnt important other than taste and feature set. as for font, you generally want something that is crisp and clear to read. i prefer sans serif terminal style (monospaced) fonts (where each character occupies a fixed width/height block) |

it really comes down to two things: do you eyes handle long stretches of looking at that font? and does the IDE you're using give you the functionality you need/want to make your job/tasks easier. if you find you are fighting the ide, it's either not doing its job (missing/poor features), or you don't understand what it's doing for you (read the manual/switch ide's) |
