I mean I only started using it a few years ago but I like that it has no bells and whistkes and hence is distraction free when I am busy programming. All i see, if I use irssi for example, is just the content, nothing else. Same with hexchat (as I am doing now). |

Yeah. I used irssi for a while but switched to weechat and I like it a lot. |

I am just too used to irssi, weechat is nice but it looks so beautiful that it would distract me, idk. |

Weechat is similiar enough to irssi hence I don't mind it either, although a user list is something I don't need, I may be able to disable it (probs) but eh, the defaults in irssi are sane enough for me :) |
