on the other hand... having struts knowledge might help you to get a gig in the next couple of weeks. i guess many enterprises will happen to have some budget appearing from nowhere to do some.. ummm.. "maintenance" :) |

pulsar, what's really difficult or painful about it ? it doesnt differ much from other similar frameworks to be honest such as Spring MVC or Struts 2, in this case you have an Actionform, Actions and a jsp with jstl tags |

with a diarrhea of xml files not really managable for a large application without any fancy editors. back then these were very rare. |

lots of copy this identifier from xml file 1, paste it into xml file 2, make sure class names in these files do not have any typos and make sure your string "constants" in your code match whatever flow has been configured in xml. |
