eclipse is used by alot of corporate sdks (websphere dev studio, flex builder, etc.) i'm guessing because it is easy to rebrand based on its design |

yah and jmonkey is based on netbeans. there are "outliers", but from what i've seen, eclipse seems to be poison of choice for corp sdk builders |
